The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that they have re-signed forward Joey Crabb for one year on a reported two-way contract.
Crabb, 28, played 48 games for the Leafs this past season and finished with 15 points on 3 goals and 12 assists. He had a career-high 3-point game March 19 against Boston at Air Canada Centre. Crabb also played in 34 games with the AHL's Toronto Marlies and had 11 goals and 7 assists for 18 points. He was selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game, but could not as he was up with the Leafs.
The 6-foot-1, 190-pound Alaska native has played in 77 NHL games with Toronto and Atlanta since making his debut in 2008-09. He was originally signed by Toronto on July 1, 2010.
