The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday that they have re-signed forward Joey Crabb for one year on a reported two-way contract.

Crabb, 28, played 48 games for the Leafs this past season and finished with 15 points on 3 goals and 12 assists. He had a career-high 3-point game March 19 against Boston at Air Canada Centre. He was selected to play in the AHL All-Star Game, but could not as he was up with the Leafs.

Quote of the Day

It's really exciting. I'm pretty sure that when I play my first game I'm going to be emotional. To be back on the ice playing a game, being in game situations, with all the routines and rituals I do before games and during the game, I feel like I'm going to be emotional. I'm going to be really happy.
