B's chase Luongo in physical affair to even series at two apiece

All summer long, NHL Network will be replaying the 2011 Stanley Cup Playoffs -- from every jaw-dropping goal to every highlight-reel save to every crushing defeat.

Each game of the postseason -- spanning the more than two-month period from the opening round to Boston's Game 7 clincher of the Stanley Cup Final -- will be shown on the Network throughout the offseason.

After an amazing 8-1 win over the Canucks in Game 3, Boston was determined to keep the momentum going and tie up the series in Game 4, as the Stanley Cup Final would shift back to Vancouver for Game 5. The B's got a bit of inspiration before the puck drop as the talisman of the franchise, Bobby Orr, served as honorary captain and whipped both the TD Garden crowd and the Bruins' players into a frenzy with an enthusiastic wave of the Bruins' team flag. All the pre-game festivities must have worked, as the Boston offense continued its recent dominance over the Canucks.

The B's would take Game 4 with an impressive 4-0 result that eventually led to Canucks goalie Roberto Luongo getting yanked early in the third period after surrendering his fourth goal of the game. The latest poor performance by Luongo meant that he gave up 11 goals on 44 shots over the last two Cup Final games. Rich Peverley tallied twice, while Michael Ryder and Brad Marchand added goals for Boston. Goalie Tim Thomas recorded 38 saves for the Bruins for his first career shutout in a Stanley Cup Final game.
