Ducks acquire Cogliano from Oilers

The Anaheim Ducks have acquired restricted free agent Andrew Cogliano from the Edmonton Oilers in exchange for a second-round pick in the 2013 Entry Draft.

Cogliano has an arbitration hearing scheduled for July 21.

Cogliano, 24, was a first-round pick by the Oilers, taken 25th in 2005. He has never missed a game since entering the League and finished this past season with 11 goals and 35 points.

Cogliano had his best season as a rookie in 2007-08, posting career highs with 18 goals and 45 points. He scored 18 goals again the following season and for his career has 57 goals and 146 points in 328 games for Edmonton.
