Leafs bring back Zigomanis with one-year deal
The Toronto Maple Leafs announced Tuesday they have re-signed veteran forward Mike Zigomanis to a one-year contract.

Zigomanis, 30, collected 1 assist and 4 penalty minutes in eight games with the Maple Leafs in 2010-11. The Toronto, Ontario native also appeared in 64 games with the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League last season, leading the team in assists (33) and points (47), while adding 14 goals and 66 penalty minutes.

In 197 career NHL games with Carolina, St. Louis, Phoenix, Pittsburgh and Toronto, the 6-foot, 200-pound center has 21 goals and 40 points. Zigomanis was originally signed by the Maple Leafs as a free agent on July 3, 2010.
