Wild sign Lundin, a Minnesota native
The Minnesota Wild signed defenseman Mike Lundin to a one-year, $1 million deal on Saturday.
The Minnesota Wild signed defenseman Mike Lundin to a one-year, $1 million deal on Saturday.

Lundin, a Minnesota native that played for Apple Valley High School and was a Mr. Hockey finalist eight years ago, played for the Lightning last season, but was not qualified, becoming an unrestricted free agent.

The 26-year-old prospered with the Lightning last season, playing more than 20 minutes per game, scoring a goal and 12 points in 69 games. He also played in 18 playoff games as Tampa Bay made it to the Eastern Conference Final.
