Maple Leafs sign defenceman Matt Lashoff, forward Philippe Dupuis

TORONTO - The Toronto Maple Leafs signed forward Philippe Dupuis and defenceman Matt Lashoff to one-year contracts on Thursday.

Dupuis arrives after playing his first full season with the Colorado Avalanche, where he had 17 points (6-11) in 74 games.

The 26-year-old has appeared in 86 career games.

Lashoff spent the majority of last season with the American Hockey League's Toronto Marlies.

The 24-year-old blue-liner appeared in 11 games for the Maple Leafs, collecting one assist.
