Upcoming free agent coverage on NHL Network

As the free agent signing period rapidly approaches on Friday, NHL Network's wall-to-wall coverage continues Wednesday on NHL Live and NHL On the Fly.

From 4-6 ET, NHL Live will discuss which free-agent forwards are likely to wind up where. This year's forward class, headlined by Stars' forward Brad Richards, became more interesting Wednesday with the news that New York's Chris Drury will accept a buyout from the Rangers and test the market. As well, with word that Pittsburgh may have set Wednesday as a deadline for reaching a potential deal with Jaromir Jagr, there is plenty of intrigue for the NHL Live crew to discuss.

At 6 ET, NHL On The Fly will tackle the offseason headlines as host Brian Duff and analysts Craig Button and Mike Johnson breakdown what the Hurricanes, Sabres and Rangers need to do to prepare for the 2011-12 NHL season.

Scheduled to appear on NHL On The Fly Wednesday are NHL insider and TSN analyst Bob McKenzie, along with Carolina right wing Chad Larose, who signed a new two-year contract with the Canes Wednesday.
