Rangers deal Grachev to Blues
The New York Rangers sent minor-league center Evgeny Grachev to St. Louis on Saturday for the Blues' third-round pick in the Entry Draft.

New York used the pick to take Steven Fogarty, a high school defenseman from Edina, Minn., with the 72nd pick in the draft.

Grachev, 21, was the Rangers' third-round pick (No. 75) in the 2008 Entry Draft. He played the past two seasons with the the Rangers' AHL affiliate, now known as the Connecticut Whale, and had 16 goals and 38 points with a plus-21 rating this season. He added a pair of goals in six playoff games.

The Khabarovsk, Russia, native also made his NHL debut this season, going scoreless in eight games with the Rangers.
