Last December, NYC Department of Parks & Recreation, The New York Rangers and Coca-Cola, launched a new program to provide free indoor hockey clinics for youth in New York City aimed to advocate the importance of living an active and healthy lifestyle.
Throughout the program more than 500 New York City youth this winter were able to get into the action and sharpen their hockey skills.
To celebrate the success of the program, On Saturday, May 14, from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., former New York RangersRod Gilbert, Ron Duguay, Nick Fotiu and Brian Mullen will host a free all-day outdoor youth hockey event at Pier 86 at the Intrepid featuring interactive clinics and activities for the whole family.
