The Pittsburgh Penguins' chase for the No. 4 seed continues on national television Tuesday night.
Pittsburgh, which is just one point ahead of Tampa Bay in the battle for home-ice advantage in the opening round of the Stanley Cup Playoffs, will host the New Jersey Devils at the Consol Energy Center. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on Versus in the U.S. The Pens have won seven of their last 10 games.
Meanwhile, fans in Canada will be treated to the showdown from the Bell Centre between the Montreal Canadiens and Chicago Blackhawks on RDS. That game also begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. Montreal is just one point ahead of Buffalo for the No. 6 seed in the Eastern Conference, while Chicago is three points up on Dallas in the race for the final playoff spot in the West.
[Stamkos] is a great teammate and a great leader, that's why he's got the 'C'. He brings that tremendous work ethic to the rink and he's one of the top players in the game. I know if I put the passes where they are supposed to be, there's a very good chance he's going to put it in the back of the net.
