The Detroit Red Wings, who are just two points ahead of the San Jose Sharks for the No. 2 seed in the Western Conference, will host the Pittsburgh Penguins at Joe Louis Arena. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.
Pittsburgh (41-23-8) is coming off a disappointing 5-2 loss on home ice to the New York Rangers on Sunday afternoon. The Pens trail Philadelphia by six points in the Atlantic Division. Pittsburgh currently resides in fourth place in the Eastern Conference, one point ahead of Tampa Bay.
