Kaberle returns to Toronto with Bruins

Tomas Kaberle has never played an NHL game at the Air Canada Centre in anything but a Toronto Maple Leafs' jersey. That will end on Saturday night.

Kaberle will face his former team at the arena he called home until being traded last month when the Boston Bruins come to Toronto in one of 11 games on Saturday's NHL schedule. The game can be seen at 7 p.m. ET in the United States on the NHL Network, as well as on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada. Both teams are trying to rebound from road losses on Thursday -- Boston fell 4-3 in overtime at Nashville, while the Leafs were beaten 4-0 by Florida.

The action begins at 2 p.m. ET when Columbus visits Minnesota, where the Wild are back home after going 0-4-0 on a road trip that ended with a 3-2 loss at San Jose on Thursday.

In addition to the Bruins and Leafs, three other games start at 7. Atlanta visits Buffalo between two teams desperate for points in the Eastern Conference playoff chase. The Thrashers are four points behind the eighth-place Sabres after Thursday's 4-3 shootout win against Philadelphia.

The New York Islanders, 3-2 overtime losers at Carolina on Saturday, visit Florida, and Tampa Bay is at Ottawa. The Lightning are 1-0-2 on their current trip after a 3-2 shootout loss at Montreal on Thursday, the same night the Senators beat New Jersey 3-1 at Scotiabank Place.

At 8 p.m. ET, Detroit tries for its third win in four nights when it visits Nashville. The Wings beat Washington 3-2 at home on Wednesday and blanked the Blue Jackets 2-0 at Columbus on Thursday. Also, Philadelphia visits Dallas, where the Stars are coming off a 5-0 rout of Chicago on Thursday.

The second game of CBC's Hockey Night in Canada doubleheader has Colorado at Edmonton in a 10 p.m. ET start. A half-hour later, St. Louis finishes a Western trip in San Jose after losing 2-1 at Anaheim on Wednesday and winning 4-0 at Los Angeles the next night. The Ducks and Kings, both among the scrum of teams battling for playoff berths in the Wes, also face off at 10:30 as the Kings continue a five-game homestand.
