If Daniel holds off Steven Stamkos, who is four points behind with 86 (43 goals, 43 assists), it would be the first time in NHL history that brothers have taken consecutive scoring titles. Henrik took the honors last year with a career-high 112 points (29 goals, 83 assists) during a Hart Trophy-winning season.
If it isn't Stamkos who pushes Daniel, however, it could very well be his brother. Henrik's 84 points (16 goals, 68 assists) have him very much in the mix for the scoring title, but should things stay the way they are, it would be the first time brothers finished first and third in the League in scoring since Doug and Max Bentley pulled it off in the 1942-43 season.
If Henrik can hop over Stamkos, it would be the first time in League history that brothers finished first and second in the scoring race.
