The Carolina Hurricanes' chase for one of the remaining playoff spots in the Eastern Conference will be televised nationally on Tuesday night.
Carolina, which is four points out of a playoff spot, will visit the Buffalo Sabres at HSBC Arena. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET and can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.
Buffalo, meanwhile, enters Tuesday's action in seventh place in the East. The Sabres are one of two teams (New York Rangers) that's four points ahead of Carolina in the standings.
Canadian fans will be treated to a pair of other games Tuesday night as TSN will broadcast the showdown featuring the Washington Capitals and Montreal Canadiens from the Bell Centre (7 p.m. ET) before Calgary hosts Phoenix at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Well, for me this one's concerning, the way we performed. Because three games in, playing a desperate team on the road, I was expecting something else than this. Right now, I'm just disappointed. The other games, I thought we did some things that you can build off your game. There wasn't a lot accomplished in tonight's game.
