Sabres-Leafs on NHL Network Saturday
The Sabres and Maple Leafs have little room left for error in their season, and both will need a win on Saturday in their game on NHL Network.
The Buffalo Sabres have already had an excellent road trip -- going 4-1-1 away from home is a nice showing by anyone. But with little room for error as they chase a playoff berth, the Sabres will try to cap their seven-game trip with a win in Toronto on Saturday.

The Leafs need the game every bit as much -- they enter the night six points behind Buffalo and the New York Rangers, who own the last two playoff berths in the Eastern Conference.

The 7 p.m. ET start, one of 10 games on Saturday's schedule, can be seen on the NHL Network in the United States and on CBC's Hockey Night in Canada.

Saturday's action starts at 2 p.m. ET, when the Montreal Canadiens visit Pittsburgh, where the Penguins have been off since beating Buffalo 3-1 on Tuesday. The Habs come to Pittsburgh after a 4-1 loss at St. Louis on Thursday. The game can be seen in Canada on CBC and RDS.

Besides the Sabres and Leafs, four other games get under way at 7.

New Jersey, a 3-2 winner in overtime at Atlanta on Friday, is back home to face the New York Islanders, who rallied to beat Boston 4-2 on Friday. Atlanta visits Philadelphia, where the Flyers are back home after Thursday's 3-2 win at Toronto. Columbus visits Carolina in a meeting of teams that lost Friday night -- Carolina fell 2-1 at Washington; Columbus was beaten 4-2 at home by Los Angeles. Tampa Bay, a 2-1 home loser to Ottawa on Friday, starts a road trip at Florida, which lost 2-1 to the Senators on Thursday.

At 8 p.m. ET, Detroit, a 2-1 overtime winner against Edmonton on Friday, visits St. Louis, and Colorado travels to Nashville. The Predators are coming off a 4-0 home win against Minnesota on Thursday, while the Avs were beaten 6-2 at home by Anaheim on Friday.

Vancouver tries to finish a perfect road trip when it visits Calgary in the late portion of Hockey Night in Canada's telecast. The Canucks are 4-0-0 on their trip after a 5-4 shootout win at San Jose on Thursday; the Flames lost 3-0 at Phoenix the same night.

In the last game of the night, the New York Rangers visit San Jose for the first time since December 2008. The Rangers will be trying for a split on their two-game California trip after a 5-2 loss at Anaheim on Wednesday.
