Flyers look for revenge vs. Maple Leafs
One week after losing to the Maple Leafs in Philadelphia, the Flyers will try to get even in Toronto.

The Leafs and Flyers meet for the second consecutive Thursday, this time at the Air Canada Centre, in one of seven games on the NHL schedule. The Leafs won 3-2 a week earlier, but are coming off a 4-3 overtime loss on Long Island two nights earlier. The loss to the Leafs was the second of four in a row for the Flyers, who ended their slide by beating Edmonton 4-1 at home on Tuesday.

The Flyers and Leafs start at 7 p.m. ET, as do the Buffalo Sabres and Boston Bruins at TD Garden. Both teams are coming off road losses on Tuesday -- Boston fell 4-1 at Montreal, while the Sabres lost 3-1 at Pittsburgh.
Quote of the Day

I have been blessed to play for 16 years in the NHL; it has been an amazing ride. I would like to thank the Tampa Bay Lightning and New York Rangers organizations and owners for providing me the opportunity to play the sport I love for so many years. I could have never played for so long or accomplished all that I have without the unwavering love and support from my wife, Heather, our three sons, Ryan, Lucas, and Mason, and my parents.

— Martin St. Louis after announcing his retirement from the NHL on Thursday
