The Minnesota Wild's continued pursuit of a playoff spot in the Western Conference will be televised nationally on Tuesday night.
Minnesota, which trails No. 8 Los Angeles by just two points, will host the Colorado Avalanche at the Xcel Energy Center. Game time is slated for 8 p.m. ET and can be seen on Versus in the U.S. and TSN2 in Canada.
Canadian fans will also be treated to an "Original Six" matchup, as RDS will broadcast the showdown featuring the Boston Bruins and Montreal Canadiens from the Bell Centre. That game begins at 7:30 p.m. ET. The Bruins hold a five-point lead on the Habs in the Northeast Division.
I don't think it's really truly going to sink in until we drop the puck, to be honest. I know there's going to be a lot of smoke and mirrors with the media attention and all that. We came [Monday] and it was sort of a light day to get things organized. We just want to focus in on the business aspect, the game itself. That's what we're preparing to do. Get these next couple of days out of the way and it's game on.
