Report: Rangers obtain Mitchell from Leafs
According to TSN, the Toronto Maple Leafs have dealt pending restricted free agent center John Mitchell to the New York Rangers in exchange for a seventh-round draft pick.

Mitchell, Toronto's fifth-round draft pick in 2003, was in his third NHL season. The 6-foot-1, 182-pound Mitchell had 2 goals, 3 points and a minus-7 rating in 23 games for the Leafs this season. He has 20 goals, 55 points and 76 penalty minutes in 159 career games.
Quote of the Day

Obviously there's a lot of expectations around me but it's something I try not to focus on. I'm just trying to go out there, be myself on the ice every day, try to get better, be myself around the guys in the locker room. I think that's what's made me successful and the person that I am.
