Hockey fans in the United States will have a chance to see future NHL stars in the afternoon and the current crop of talent in the evening as the NHL Network offers an AHL-NHL twin bill on Sunday.
The action begins at 1 p.m. ET with a live telecast of an AHL game between the Manitoba Moose and Toronto Marlies. The Moose, Vancouver's top farm team, will be looking to avenge Saturday's 3-1 loss to the Maple Leafs' AHL affiliate.
At 7 p.m. ET, the action moves to Chicago, where the Blackhawks host the Phoenix Coyotes in a battle between two of the teams battling for playoff positions in the Western Conference. The Hawks come home with a three-game winning streak after Thursday's 3-0 win at Nashville. Phoenix has split the first four games of a five-game trip, but is coming off a 5-3 loss at Columbus on Friday.
