National spotlight to shine on Sabres, Habs
One of the more heated rivalries in the Northeast Division will be televised nationally on Tuesday night.
One of the more heated rivalries in the Northeast Division will be televised nationally on Tuesday night.

The Buffalo Sabres, who are just four points back in the Eastern Conference playoff race, will visit the Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre. Game time is slated for 7:30 p.m. ET.

Montreal (31-20-6) has earned points in seven of its last 10 games and trails the first-place Boston Bruins by only one point in the Northeast Division. The Habs are 19-7-5 on home ice this season.

Tuesday's showdown can be seen on VERSUS in the U.S and RDS in Canada.
