Kings-Penguins on NHL Network
The Los Angeles Kings' tour of North America comes to Pittsburgh's Consol Energy Center on Thursday night.

The Kings, in the midst of a 10-game road trip, make their first visit to the Penguins' new home -- and just their third trip to Pittsburgh since October 2003 -- when they come to town for a 7 p.m. ET game.

The NHL Network (U.S.) will be on hand to see if the Sidney Crosby- and Evgeni Malkin-less Penguins can bounce back from Tuesday's 4-1 home loss to Columbus. The Kings have been off since Saturday's 4-3 shootout win at Calgary.

The Kings-Penguins game is one of five on Thursday's NHL schedule, all in the Eastern time zone.

Also at 7, two of the NHL's hottest teams get together when New Jersey visits Toronto in a game that will be aired on TSN in Canada. The Devils are 10-1-2 in their last 13 games after Tuesday's 3-2 overtime win against Carolina. The Leafs are back home after Tuesday's 5-3 win on Long Island, their fourth in five games since the All-Star break. Carolina moves down the New Jersey Turnpike for a visit to Philadelphia, which leads the Eastern Conference and has been off since Saturday's 3-1 home win against Dallas.

A half-hour later, the Islanders visit Montreal in a game that will air on RDS in Canada, while Buffalo tries to get closer to the top eight in the West when it visits Florida. The Sabres are going for a Sunshine State sweep after winning 7-4 at Tampa Bay on Tuesday, the same night the Panthers lost 2-1 at home to St. Louis.
