Canucks-Wings on NHL Network
Two division leaders going on opposite directions get together Wednesday night when the surging Vancouver Canucks visit the Detroit Red Wings.

The Canucks are 9-1-1 in their last 11 and have won four in a row after beating the Blues 3-1 in St. Louis on Monday. The Wings have been off since Sunday's disappointing 4-3 overtime home loss to Dallas, a game they led 2-0 in the first period and 3-2 late in the third.

Viewers in the United States can tune in to the NHL Network for the 7:30 p.m. ET faceoff, while fans in Canada can watch on TSN.

The Canucks-Wings game is one of four on Wednesday's schedule.

Steven Stamkos and the Tampa Bay Lightning start a two-game trip to the New York area by visiting the New York Islanders at 7 p.m. ET. The Lightning come to Long Island after Monday's 5-1 home victory against Carolina, The Isles have been off since Saturday's 4-3 shootout loss to Phoenix.

Also at 7, Sidney Crosby will try to get a point for the 22nd consecutive game when Florida comes to the Consol Energy Center. Sid extended his streak to a career-best 21 games with a goal and a pair of assists in Monday's 6-1 victory against Phoenix on Monday -- the same night the Panthers went into Philadelphia and left with a 5-0 victory.

In the final game of the night, the Nashville Predators visit the Chicago Blackhawks at 8:30 p.m. ET. Both teams have been off since playing Los Angeles last weekend; Nashville was red-hot until a 6-1 home whipping by the Kings on Saturday, while the Hawks beat L.A. 3-2 on Sunday.
