An intriguing cross-conference showdown provides NHL fans with an early Christmas present Monday night as the Boston Bruins' game at TD Garden against the Anaheim Ducks will be televised nationally by Versus in the United States and TSN2 in Canada.

The Bruins (17-10-4) are four points ahead of the Hurricanes and will be trying to make it back-to-back wins after edging the Capitals on Saturday. The Ducks (17-15-4) have the division rival Kings and Coyotes right on their tail, just one point back, and are looking for their first win in three games.
