Hockey fans in the United States will have plenty to enjoy during Thanksgiving week, as the NHL Network airs three live games and a pair of original programs.

The live games begin Wednesday night when the Chicago Blackhawks and San Jose Sharks meet at HP Pavilion, beginning at 10:30 p.m. ET. It's the first meeting between the teams since the Hawks completed a four-game sweep of the Sharks in last spring's Western Conference Finals.

Hockey fans can spent their Thanksgiving evening with the Edmonton Oilers. At 7 p.m. ET, the NHL Network has the latest installment of "Oil Change," highlighting the highs and lows of the Oilers' early-season schedule. At 9 p.m., the Oilers host the Colorado Avalanche in the only NHL game of the evening.

On Friday night, the NHL Network debuts "Tiger Pride -- Eight Decades of Colorado College Hockey," as Mike Emrick narrates a look at the school's rich hockey history.

One night later, it's back to NHL action. The NHL Network and CBC's Hockey Night in Canada will air the Northeast Division battle between the Buffalo Sabres and Montreal Canadiens at the Bell Centre.
