After watching NHL scoring leader Steven Stamkos go wild in Philadelphia on Thursday, hockey fans in the United States can see another of the NHL's big guns on Friday night.
Alex Ovechkin leads the red-hot Washington Capitals into Atlanta for a 7 p.m. ET start in a game that can be seen in the U.S. on the NHL Network. The Caps are already putting some distance between themselves and the rest of the Southeast Division, while the Thrashers are trying to bounce back after a 2-1 loss to Florida on Wednesday.
Hockey fans in Canada will have action of their own, as TSN will air the game between the Chicago Blackhawks and Calgary Flames at the Pengrowth Saddledome. Game time for that one is 9:30 p.m. ET.
