Caps-Leafs on NHL Network
The Toronto Maple Leafs pay one of this season's two trips to Washington on Wednesday, and the NHL Network will be there.

Fans in the United States can catch all the action on the NHL Network when the Leafs try to slow down Alex Ovechkin & Co. at the Verizon Center in a game that faces off at 7 p.m. ET. But fans in Canada won't miss out -- TSN is also airing the game as part of a Wednesday night doubleheader.

In the second game, TSN will be on hand as the Detroit Red Wings begin a swing through Western Canada with a visit to Calgary. That game gets under way at 9:30 p.m. ET.
Quote of the Day

That was something I've been dreaming of, something I've told myself before the third period I was going to do ... It was an amazing feeling. It's hard to describe. I didn't believe it went in at first but when I saw all the reaction and all the fans going crazy and my teammates going crazy, it's just an unbelievable feeling. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know whether to jump or just skate and do a Theo Fleury. I don't think I'm the same caliber player he is so I couldn't do it.
