Alex Ovechkin has accomplished a lot of things in his young NHL career. Winning a game in Minnesota isn't one of them.
Hockey fans in the United States can watch Ovi and the Caps try again Thursday night when they visit the Wild for an 8 p.m. ET start that will be televised in HD on the NHL Network.
The Caps have lost both visits to the Xcel Energy Center since Ovechkin's arrival in 2005 -- and are 0-4-1 in St. Paul since the Wild entered the NHL in 2000.
Fans in Canada can tune in to TSN at 9:30 p.m. ET to see the game between the Colorado Avalanche and Calgary Flames at the Scotiabank Saddledome. That game will also be in high-definition. The Avs will be without No. 1 goaltender Craig Anderson, who was injured in pregame warmups prior to Tuesday's 4-3 overtime loss at Vancouver.
