"Lord Stanley's Summer," a three-part series following the Chicago Blackhawks and their time with the Stanley Cup, will premiere Tuesday at 7 p.m. ET on the NHL Network.
The first episode will feature Norris Trophy winner Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook and Troy Brouwer celebrating with the Cup in British Columbia. In a province generally consumed by its love for the Vancouver Canucks -- and considering how the Hawks have knocked the Canucks out of the playoffs the last two seasons -- there was no lack of love shown the three local NHL champions.
The next episode will air Tuesday, Oct. 19, with the third episode premiering Tuesday, Oct. 26.
Yeah, it was a pretty special moment for me. Today was my Dad's [55th] birthday. I have a lot of family in town, so it was a special moment for me to score my first one today. A win definitely would have capped it off, but you can't have everything.
