A pair of NHL general managers, Washington's George McPhee and Carolina's Jim Rutherford, will be among the guests on NHL Live! on Wednesday, scheduled from noon-2 p.m. on NHL Network and NHL.com and broadcast on XM Radio.
McPhee has been the GM and vice president of the Capitals for the last 11 seasons, helping to build the franchise into one of the best in the NHL. Rutherford, a former goaltender who joined Carolina for the 1997-98 season, built the Hurricanes' only Stanley Cup championship team -- the 2005-06 squad that edged Edmonton in a seven-game Final.
Also scheduled to appear to speak with co-hosts Don LaGreca and E.J. Hradek are former NHL center Bobby Holik as well as film and TV producer (and hockey buff) Jerry Bruckheimer.
