NHL Network-US has announced two changes to this week's live game broadcast schedule.
On Wednesday, Sept. 29, the network will air the Toronto Maple Leafs at Ottawa Senators contest at 7:30 p.m. ET in place of the originally scheduled New York Islanders at Philadelphia Flyers game. Additionally on Friday, Oct. 1, U.S. fans can see the Toronto Maple Leafs at the Detroit Red Wings at 7 p.m. ET. This takes the place of the originally scheduled Buffalo Sabres at Philadelphia Flyers game.
NHL Network is airing an unprecedented total of 35 preseason games in the U.S. this year, providing fans with nightly contests from around the League through Sunday, Oct. 3.
It marks the most comprehensive coverage of the preseason ever on the Network, with 40 hours of live game broadcasts and 78 hours total of live and delayed broadcasts. Including re-broadcasts, there will be more than 200 hours of preseason action available on NHL Network-U.S. The 2010-11 NHL regular season begins Thursday, Oct. 7.
