Kane emerges as top fantasy right wing

Times have changed at right wing. Veterans like Jarome Iginla, Daniel Alfredsson and Teemu Selanne no longer lead the way; the youth movement is in full effect. While it's likely that no right wings will be drafted in the first round of fantasy drafts this year, the position actually possesses a lot of depth. Whether you're looking to attain scorers, playmakers or tough guys, you can find it all at right wing.

It was a tough call, but the soon to be 22-year-old Patrick Kane beat out Marian Gaborik as the top right wing for this season. Alexander Semin, 26, a similar statistical player to Gaborik, rounds out the top three right wings. With plenty of depth you can look to grab under-the-radar players like Loui Eriksson, Ales Hemsky and Patric Hornqvist in the middle rounds of your draft. You can also fill up the stat categories with five-tool players Corey Perry, Chris Stewart, Shane Doan and David Backes. Whether its trust in an old-time vet, or a leap of faith with an up-and-coming youngster, right wing should not be a position to worry about this year.
