Blackhawks re-sign Hendry
The Chicago Blackhawks re-signed defenseman Jordan Hendry to a one-year contract, the team announced Wednesday morning.

Hendry, 26, posted career-highs in goals (2), assists (6), points (8), plus/minus rating (plus-5) and games played (43) during the 2009-10 regular-season.  The Nokomis, Saskatchewan, native also skated in 15 postseason contests and helped the Blackhawks win their first championship since 1961.

Originally signed as a free agent following a collegiate career at the University of Alaska-Fairbanks, Hendry has 3 goals, 9 assists and 36 penalty minutes in 92 NHL games.
