Buffalo got bigger Friday with the signing of 28-year-old right wing Tim Conboy to a one-year contract.
Conboy, who is 6-2 and checks in at 210 pounds, spent the last three seasons with the Carolina Hurricanes, splitting time between the NHL and their AHL affiliate, with the Albany River Rats.
He played in 12 games with the 'Canes this past season and accumulated 24 penalty minutes. In 39 games with the River Rats he had 3 assists and 87 PIMs. Conboy, who was drafted by San Jose in 2002, has 6 assists in 59 career NHL games.
It seems like I'm kind of making it a little difficult on myself here the last two games.
