Order of selection for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft
NEW YORK -- The Carolina Hurricanes hold a League-high 11 picks of the 210 allotted for the 2010 NHL Entry Draft, to be held Friday, June 25 (round 1) and Saturday, June 26 (rounds 2-7) at STAPLES Center in Los Angeles. The Edmonton Oilers, owners of the first overall selection, and the New York Islanders follow with 10 picks apiece.

The Los Angeles Kings, hosting the Entry Draft for the first time in franchise history, are scheduled to make the first of their nine current selections with the 19th overall choice.

National rightsholders VERSUS in the United States and TSN and RDS in Canada will provide live coverage of the first round beginning at 7 p.m. ET/4 p.m. PT. NHL Radio also will provide first-round coverage, which can be heard on radio stations across North America including NHL Home Ice XM 204 and NHL.com. NHL Network and RIS will broadcast rounds 2-7 the following day, starting at 1 p.m. ET/10 a.m. PT.
