Shifts of the Night, Apr. 24, 2010
Blackhawks 5, Predators 4

Instead of calling it a day, the group of Duncan Keith, Brent Seabrook, Patrick Kane, Patrick Sharp and Jonathan Toews found a way to score a shorthanded goal in the final moments of the third period to erase a 4-3 deficit as Kane converted on Sharp's rebound for his third goal of the playoffs.

Penguins 4, Senators 2 (OT)

With a little more than seven minutes left in the third period and Pittsburgh facing the prospect of losing a second elimination game, grinding forward Matt Cooke played a Matt Cooke shift and crashed the net to find the rebound of a Mark Eaton shot and slap it past Ottawa goalie Pascal Leclaire to bring Pittsburgh all the way back from a 3-0 deficit. It was Cooke’s second rebound goal of the night.

Sharks 5, Avalanche 2

Avalanche forwards Paul Stastny and Brandon Yip were pretty quiet through two periods – neither had a shot on goal -- but they came through at 4:51 of the third period and combined to give Colorado a brief 2-1 lead. Stastny sidestepped a check by Sharks defenseman Jason Demers in the right corner and passed to Yip driving down the slot. Yip knocked the puck past goalie Evgeni Nabokov.
