Real McCoys come back to tie Regals 4-4, advance to Allan Cup semifinals

Fort St. John, B.C. - Dan Pitre Scored Twice And The Dundas Real Mccoys Advanced To The Semifinals Of The Allan Cup Senior Hockey Championship After A 4-4 Tie With The Powell River Regals On Wednesday.

Dundas Trailed 3-1 Heading Into The Third Period, But They Scored Three Goals To Get The Tie And Finish Atop The Division One Standings With A 1-0-1 Record.

Division Leaders Earn A Bye Directly Into The Semifinals. The Host Fort St. John Flyers Are Also In The Semifinals After Finishing First In Division Two.

Powell River Finished Third In Division One With A 0-1-1 Record And Will Play The Bently Generals In Thursday's Quarter-Finals.

Bentley Finished Second In Division Two After A 7-2 Rout Of The Clarenville Caribou Later Wednesday.

In The Other Quarter-Final, The Caribou Will Play The South East Prairie Thunder, Who Finished Second In Division One.

Ryan Kuwabara And Justin Davis Also Scored For Dundas.

Bobby Russell And Cal Benazic Each Had Two Goals For Powell River.

Dan Turple Made 30 Saves For The Real Mccoys While Chad Vizzutti Stopped 32 Shots For The Regals.

In The Late Game, Diarmuid Kelly Led Bentley With Three Goals While Jordan Alford Made 41 Saves.

Tyler Haarstad, Sean Robertson, Travis Brigley And Jon Hobson Also Scored For Bentley.
