TORONTO - Forward Jeremy Morin of the Kitchener Rangers was named Ontario Hockey League player of the week Monday.

He had seven points (six goals, one assist) in four games last week.

Teammates Jeff Skinner and Chris MacKinnon were also considered.

Barrie Colts netminder Mavric Parks was named goaltender of the week. He posted a 2-1-0-0 record last week with one shutout, a goals-against-average of 2.00 and save percentage of .934.

Quote of the Day

Obviously there's a lot of expectations around me but it's something I try not to focus on. I'm just trying to go out there, be myself on the ice every day, try to get better, be myself around the guys in the locker room. I think that's what's made me successful and the person that I am.
