Hall, Windsor finishes sweep of Seguin, Plymouth
Tyler Seguin may have won the rankings battle, but give Taylor Hall the nod in their Ontario Hockey League Western Conference semifinal playoff series.

Neither of the top-rated prospects contributed in the scoring, but Hall's Windsor Spitfires rallied from a 2-0 deficit for a 3-2 overtime victory Wednesday against Seguin's Plymouth Whalers to complete a four-game sweep.

Windsor advanced to the conference finals, where they'll face the winner of the series between the London Knights and Kitchener Rangers, which was tied 2-2 following the Rangers' 8-7 overtime win Wednesday.

Earlier Wednesday, Seguin scored the coveted top spot among North American skaters in NHL Central Scouting's final rankings for the 2010 Entry Draft. Hall is No. 2. The order is reversed from January's midterm rankings.

However, Hall proved he was No. 1 in his individual battle with Seguin. In four games, Hall, a 6-foot-1, 185-pound left wing, had 3 goals, 3 assists and a plus-6 rating. Seguin, a 6-1, 172-pound center, had no points and a minus-6 rating.

When these teams met in the same playoff round last year, Plymouth pushed Windsor to six games before falling to the eventual OHL and Memorial Cup champions. It was the deepest Windsor played in any postseason series.
