DALLAS (AP) -The Dallas Stars have recalled defenseman Philip Larsen from the Swedish Elite League and defenseman Maxime Fortunus from the Texas Stars of the American Hockey League.

The Stars made the moves Saturday before playing at St. Louis.

Fortunus will be available for the game against Blues. Larsen is flying from Europe to Dallas and will join the team for practice Sunday.

After participating in the Stars' training camp last fall, Larsen had one goal and nine assists in 42 games with Frolunda in the Swedish league. He was a fifth-round pick by Dallas in the 2008 draft.

Fortunus appeared in eight games for Dallas this season. He had 11 goals and 12 assists in 69 games for the Texas Stars.

Quote of the Day

That was something I've been dreaming of, something I've told myself before the third period I was going to do ... It was an amazing feeling. It's hard to describe. I didn't believe it went in at first but when I saw all the reaction and all the fans going crazy and my teammates going crazy, it's just an unbelievable feeling. I didn't know what to do. I didn't know whether to jump or just skate and do a Theo Fleury. I don't think I'm the same caliber player he is so I couldn't do it.
