The Windsor left wing scored a pair of third-period goals as the Spitfires took Game 1 of their second-round Ontario Hockey League playoff series against Tyler Seguin and the Plymouth Whalers, 5-1.
Hall was a plus-2, while Seguin was scoreless and a minus-3. Seguin was on the ice for all three Windsor even-strength goals.
Hall and Seguin were 1-2 in NHL Central Scouting's midterm ranking of North American skaters, and likely will be the top two players when the final rankings are released April 7.
"I don't think, since I've been a part of Central Scouting, have I seen two guys as close as Hall and Seguin," added Central Scouting's Al Jensen.
Game 2 of the series will be Saturday at Plymouth. The teams met in the second round of last year's OHL playoffs, with Windsor winning in six games en route to OHL and Memorial Cup championships. It was the deepest Windsor was taken in any postseason series.
