NHL, Hewlett-Packard launch NHL PhotoStore
NEW YORK -- The NHL today announced it is working with HP to launch the NHL PhotoStore by HP, the latest initiative from the NHL® designed to meet the growing demand from NHL fans around the world for digital content and products.

"We are answering the strong demand of our fans to own a piece of their favorite NHL memories," said Perry Cooper, the NHL's senior vice president of digital media. "We will continue to build out our direct-to-consumer product portfolio to ensure that our fans have access to the content and products that enable them to stay emotionally connected to their favorite teams and players."

The NHL PhotoStore by HP is the official destination providing NHL fans the ability to purchase high quality prints of some of the sport's most iconic moments and athletes -- from past to present -- as captured by the official NHL photographic partner, Getty Images. Fans can choose from 8x10, 16x20, and 20x30 prints, framed or unframed offering lasting memories of their favorite moments, games, teams and players.

"Fans want to connect with their hockey heroes and the NHLPA is excited to help provide another avenue for fans to do so," said Adam Larry, NHLPA Director of Licensing. "This online photo store will allow fans to bring the NHL players of their choice and the great moments in the game, from Getty Images, right into their home with the simple click of a button."

At www.nhl.com/photostore, fans can easily navigate through galleries of all 30 NHL teams, including dedicated pages for the most popular players from each Club, including NHL stars such as Alex Ovechkin, Sidney Crosby and Patrick Kane. Other featured content includes imagery from the 2009-10 NHL season, and special collection photos from NHL All Star Games, Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic® and the Stanley Cup® Final, with new game photos added daily.

"Adding this breadth of NHL merchandise to our arsenal of licensed content fuels sports fans' individual creativity and marks another leap forward in our strategy to make content from the web easy to print and enjoy."

Throughout the year, NHL PhotoStore by HP will offer various discounts around holidays and major league events and announcements, including the Stanley Cup® Playoffs, NHL Entry Draft, the back to school season, Black Friday and Cyber Monday.
