In a rematch of the last two Stanley Cup Finals, the Pittsburgh Penguins and Detroit Red Wings will collide on national television as part of the NHL's three-game schedule on Monday night.
The puck drops from Joe Louis Arena at 7 p.m. ET, as the Wings continue their playoff push against the Pens on Versus and TSN. Detroit (35-23-13) is just two points ahead of the Calgary Flames for the eighth and final playoff spot in the Western Conference.
A heated rivalry resumes 30 minutes later, as the Ottawa Senators host the Montreal Canadiens at Scotiabank Place (RDS in Canada). Ottawa has lost five in a row and is losing its grip on a playoff spot. Both teams have 79 points.
In the final game of the night, the Los Angeles Kings host the Colorado Avalanche at the Staples Center at 10:30 p.m. ET. The Avs dropped a 5-2 decision in Anaheim on Friday, while the Kings are coming off Saturday's 1-0 win against the New York Islanders. L.A., which resides in sixth place in the Western Conference, is just one point ahead of No. 7 Colorado.
