Rangers-Bruins highlights Sunday schedule
Two teams in do-or-die mode will face-off on national television Sunday afternoon as part of the NHL's nine-game schedule.

The Boston Bruins, who are just three points ahead of the New York Rangers, will host the Blueshirts at TD Garden at 12:30 p.m. ET. The game can be seen on NBC, which will feature isolated cameras on Sean Avery, Marian Gaborik, Blake Wheeler and Patrice Bergeron.

Later in the afternoon, the Calgary Flames continue their playoff push as they visit the Minnesota Wild at 3 p.m. ET. Calgary fell two points behind No. 8 Detroit in the Western Conference thanks to the latter's overtime win at Vancouver on Saturday night.

Two hours later, the Carolina Hurricanes, who upset the Pittsburgh Penguins in the Steel City on Saturday afternoon, get right back at it against the Buffalo Sabres at the RBC Center. Meanwhile, the reeling Tampa Bay Lightning visit the Florida Panthers at the BankAtlantic Center. Tampa Bay (28-31-12) has lost four straight.

The Nashville Predators, who extended their winning streak to five games with a 1-0 victory against Columbus on Saturday, travel to St. Louis to face the Blues at 6 p.m. ET. St. Louis also won 1-0 on Saturday at New Jersey.

A pair of games get under way at 7 p.m. ET -- the Philadelphia Flyers conclude their home-and-home series with the Atlanta Thrashers at the Wachovia Center, while the red-hot Phoenix Coyotes visit the Dallas Stars. Phoenix made it eight in a row with its shootout win against Chicago at Jobing.com Arena on Saturday night.

The final two contests have 8 p.m. (ET) start times -- the San Jose Sharks, who are now just one point ahead of Phoenix in the Pacific Division, take on the Edmonton Oilers at Rexall Place. Also, the Anaheim Ducks, which rallied for an overtime win against the New York Islanders on Friday at the Honda Center, host the Colorado Avalanche.
