Stajan to stay with Flames
Calgary Flames forward Matt Stajan has agreed to a multi-year contract extension. TSN has reported it's a four-year deal. Terms of the contract were not revealed.

Stajan, 26, was scheduled to be an unrestricted free agent July 1.

Acquired by the Flames as part of the seven-player deal that sent Dion Phaneuf to the Toronto Maple Leafs on Jan. 31, Stajan has 2 goals and 4 points in seven games in Calgary, and has been used on the top line with captain Jarome Iginla.

For the season, Stajan has 18 goals and 45 points in 62 games.
