Ovi and Caps go for 14 vs. Sid and Pens
The NHL's biggest rivalry -- Sidney Crosby vs. Alex Ovechkin -- plays out again on Sunday with more than just the usual two points and bragging rights on the line.

Ovechkin and the Washington Capitals host Crosby and the Pittsburgh Penguins in the NBC Game of the Week at noon ET with the Caps' 13-game winning streak on the line. It's the longest streak in the NHL since New Jersey won 13 in a row in 2001 -- and a win by the Capitals would make their streak the longest since Pittsburgh set the League record of 17 consecutive wins in March-April 1993.

The Caps and their fans likely spent Saturday digging out of the blizzard that covered the Mid-Atlantic region and forced the Penguins to scramble their travel plans after Saturday's 5-3 loss in Montreal. The Caps got win No. 13 on Friday with a 5-2 victory over Atlanta.

Sunday's only other game is an Original Six matchup between the Bruins and Canadiens in Montreal. The Bruins are coming off a 3-2 shootout loss to Vancouver at home on Saturday afternoon that extended their losing streak to 10 games. It's the second meeting between the teams in four days: The Canadiens beat the B's 3-2 in a shootout at Boston on Thursday night.
