Chilliwack scores early, often as Bruins pound Lethbridge Hurricanes 9-2

CHILLIWACK, B.C. - The Chilliwack Bruins blitzed Lethbridge with three goals before the game was seven minutes old and cruised to a 9-2 win over the Hurricanes in Western Hockey League action Tuesday.

Mitch Topping and Ryan Howse each scored twice for Chilliwack (24-25-6), while Jeff Einhorn, Chris Collins, Jamie Crooks, Dylen McKinlay and Blair Wentworth had singles.

Matt Delahey and Tim Traber each added two assists for the Bruins.

Jacob Berglund and Reid Jackson replied for the Lethbridge (16-31-5).

Hurricanes netminder Lindon Rowat was replaced at 6:08 of the first after allowing three goals on eight shots. Brandon Anderson went the rest of the way, allowing six goals on 32 shots.

Lucas Gore made 21 to pick up the win.
