Pittsburgh Penguins and Philadelphia Flyers renew one of the NHL's most intense rivalries in front of a national TV audience on Sunday when the Penguins come to the Wachovia Center. NBC will air the game at 12:30 p.m. ET.
The Penguins have won their two previous visits to Philadelphia this season, but the Flyers won the last meeting between the teams, 7-4 in Pittsburgh on Jan. 7. The surging Flyers beat Carolina 4-2 at home on Saturday, while the Penguins have been off since a 6-3 loss to Washington at Mellon Arena on Thursday.
There are two other games on Sunday's NHL schedule.
Two teams that lost Saturday, the Hurricanes and Boston Bruins, will get together at the RBC Center on Raleigh at 5 p.m. ET. The Bruins are coming to town after a 2-1 loss at home on Saturday afternoon.
In the only night game, Colorado goes for its sixth consecutive win when the Dallas Stars come to the Pepsi Center at 8 p.m. ET. Both teams won on Friday -- Colorado edged Nashville 2-1 at home, while the Stars ended a 10-game road losing streak with a 4-3 win at Edmonton.
