The Olympics countdown begins. The NHL Live! radio show is extending an extra hour today to cover all of the Olympic hockey team rosters announced during the past two weeks. Tune in from 2 to 3 p.m. on NHL Network, NHL.com or XM Radio for all of the coverage.

Patrick Elias of the New Jersey Devils and the Czech Republic Olympic squad will be a guest just after 2 p.m. ET. Phoenix Coyotes goalie Ilya Bryzgalov, just named one the NHL's Three Stars for the month of December, will appear at 2:15 p.m. to talk about his eight-win month and his participation on the Russian Olympic team. Ryan Suter of the Nashville Predators, named to the U.S. Olympic team on Jan. 1 after the thrilling finish of the 2010 Bridgestone NHL Winter Classic in Boston, will be on the air at 2:22 p.m. with hosts E. J. Hradek and Deb Placey. NHL.com managing editor Shawn Roarke will be in studio at 2:30 p.m. to analyze the Olympic rosters and pick his sleeper team for the tournament.
