The Moose Jaw Warriors ended a losing streak by beating up on a familiar opponent.

Antonin Honejsek scored four goals as the Warriors thrashed the visiting Edmonton Oil Kings 11-2 in Western Hockey League action Friday night. Honejsek wasn't the only Warrior to benefit from the support of the home crowd. Travis Hamonic had a hat trick and Joey Kornelsen had the first two goals of his WHL career.

Jakub Herman and Cody Smuk also scored for Moose Jaw (17-13-2).

The win ends a three game slide for the Warriors. Coincidentally, their last win was a 3-2 overtime win over Edmonton on Nov. 28.

Cameron Maclise and Michael St. Croix scored for the Oil Kings (8-18-4-4).

Elsewhere in the WHL it was Red Deer 3 Prince Albert 2; Brandon 8 Kelowna 4; Calgary 3 Kootenay 1; Medicine Hat 7 Regina 2; Spokane 7 Chilliwack 1; Vancouver 5 Kamloops 3; Prince George 3 Everett 2; and Seattle 5 Tri-City 1.

Rebels 3 Raiders 2

At Prince Albert, Sask., Willie Coetzee scored a goal and an assist as Red Deer defeated the Raiders.

Lane Scheidl and Andrej Kudrna scored the other goals for Red Deer (16-14-1).

Craig McCallum and Dustin Cameron replied for the Raiders (18-15-3).

Wheat Kings 8 Rockets 4

At Brandon, Man., Jay Fehr scored four goals as the Wheat Kings doubled up on Kelowna.

Scott Glennie had a goal and an assist for Brandon (22-11-2), while Mark Schneider, Jesse Sinatynski and Michael Ferland added singles.

Max Adolph, Brett Bulmer, Spencer Main and Shane McColgan scored for Kelowna (17-16-1).

At Cranbrook, B.C., Brandon Kozun scored his 19th goal of the season to lead Calgary over Kootenay.

Kris Foucal and Kyle Aschim also scored for Calgary (24-8-1).

Jesse Ismond was the lone scorer for Kootenay (16-15-2).

Tigers 7 Pats 2

At Medicine Hat, Alta., Mark Isherwood scored twice for the Tigers as they smashed Regina.

Wacey Hamilton, Bretton Cameron, Taylor Gal, Matt Konan and Scott McKay all had goals for Medicine Hat (19-10-6).

Hampus Gustafsson and Jordan Eberle replied for the Pats (16-16-3).

Chiefs 7 Bruins 1

At Chilliwack, B.C., Levko Koper had a hat trick and an assist as Spokane rolled the Bruins.

Kyle Beach and Tyler Johnson both scored twice for Spokane (20-8-2).

Roman Horak was the lone scorer for Chilliwack (13-17-5).

At Vancouver, Kevin Connauton scored twice as Vancouver rallied to post a victory over Kamloops.

Neil Manning and Craig Cunningham both had a goal and two assists for Vancouver (21-11-3), while James Henry also scored.

Bronson Maschmeyer, Jimmy Bubnick and Shane Wiebe all scored for Kamloops (13-16-4).

Cougars 3 Silvertips 2

At Everett, Wash., Dallas Jackson forced overtime, then was the only player to score in the shootout as Prince George upset the Silvertips.

Marek Viedensky also scored for Prince George (6-24-2).

Cameron Abney and Kellan Tochkin scored for Everett (16-11-3).

Thunderbirds 5 Americans 1

At Kent, Wash., Calvin Pickard made 53 saves to backstop Seattle to a win over Tri-City.

Prab Rai, Tyler Alos,Lindsay Nielsen, Scott Ramsay and Mikhail Sentuyrin all scored for Seattle (12-17-4).

Neal Propkop was the lone scorer for the Americans (22-9-0).
